No longer around, but I have to say the USRA, if only for having some of the most awesome-looking steam locomotives designed.

Old (pre-yellow) Union Pacific is a close second.

Florida East Coast gets honorable mention for being the only railroad to run through my hometown.

3- Ontario Northlands
4- GO Transit

Hey Royane, you do realize that ATSF and Santa Fe are the same thing right?:hehe:

My list.

1) Reading
2) ATSF
3) Burlington Northern
4) Lehigh Valley
5) Pennsylvania Schuylkill River Valley(The rest of the PRR can go eff itself. Crappy railroad is way too overrated. There, I said it.)
6) D&H
7) DRGW (Though modern day DRGW not so much. They just aren't the same after they aquired the Union Pacific, and took on their name and paint scheme. I know that it is a better known name and all, but still, they could have at least kept the DRGW paint scheme.)
8) 1996-1998 BNSF
9) BAR
10) CNJ

;) here are my favorites:

1.the C&O
2.Union pacific
3.southern
4.CSX
