FAVORITE ENGINE OF ALL TIME

I thought we could have a thread were we could post pictures of are all time favorite engines. My favorite engine is the ATSF 5700 as you could have guessed.

Heres a picture of her:

poor thing got repainted to Yellow and Blue, then was scrapped........

It would be cool to have this engine in trainz.

I'm such a fan, I'm using Dreamscene so that my desktop cycles through like, dozens of pictures of Acelas.

There's also a few Renfe engines I like.

Favorite engine of all time? Definately streamlined S class steam locos (favorite in the class is #301)...

Hello all, for me personally, I had the privilege of working on British Rail in the famous era of such locomotives as the Class 55 "Deltic", the Class 50 "Hoover" and all English Electric diesel locomotives including Classes 37 and 40. To listen to their engines and hear them "tick-over" as they stood in freight yards and stations was so enjoyable.....The good old days..

One of my fave photographs depicts my favourite engine the Class 40 "Whistler"...
