My favorite loco

I love every locomotive ever built. Except for the Crampton, that is plain ugly. But, here's a unit that surprised me.

This unit was used in "Planes, Trains and Automobiles". I found out it was an ex-Norfolk & Western Railway ALCO C425 model. At the time, she was owned by the New York and Lake Erie Railroad. Does anyone know if she survives today in revenue service or on display somewhere? This beauty should be saved, if it's still out there.

i must say... i have to go with Amtraks EMD f40ph.
my first cab ride was in a f40!
my all time fav was number 206...hence the numbers at the end of my screen name!

At the moment I really like playing with the Russian EMU/ TMU's in trainz, but for all time its still has to be the GWR broad gauge locos, if I had to pick one of the it would have to be Lord of the Isles
