Hello I've been trying to figure out how to fix BR Class 37 Reskin Base 2 (<Kuid:2:2512:2382:7>) and Smoothnose (<Kuid:2:2512:2385:1>) with no Success at all. I tried asking about it on another forum but got no response at all on how to fix it. Would like to know a way on how to fix it as it is really driving me nuts at the moment.

Post the errors you are getting here and perhaps we can help you get them fixed. I have both of them, and they both are Modified, so I may have also had to fix them, but I don't remember what was wrong.

I think this is the error in both of them:
: VE30: The tag 'image' in '0' refers to a nonexistent file: 'screenshot.jpg'.
There are two ways you can go. Snap a picture and put it into the asset folder as "screenshot.jpg", or edit the config.txt file and remove the stanza that points to "scrrenshot.jpg."

E146: An asset must be specified for tag 'texture-kuid'.

Open the config.txt file and remove the complete line. Hint: Because there's going to be a lot of these, I recommend highlighting the line as mentioned and use a search and replace function in your editor. Search for that line and replace with nothing. This works 100% of the time.

Where can those trains with errors be downloaded?
They are not in the DLS.
The errors in our games could be seen more directly for their possible solution.

For the screenshot error, find and delete all of the following:

thumbnails
{
0
{
image "screenshot.jpg"
width 240
height 180
}
}

As John mentioned, find any line containing "texture-kuid" and delete that line.

Guys, the fixes are in the threads linked, if anyone cares to actually read them...

This question has come up many times over the years, the answers are still the same.

I've tried editing the config file for both and they still say its faulty no matter what I do

If you submit the edits and it still says faulty, you might try double-clicking the assets in CM again or doing an Open - Preview Asset. Sometimes Trainz doesn't bother to check after an asset has been fixed and keeps saying faulty until you force the program to look at it. Also, if you check the errors and warnings again and nothing shows, it is fixed.

To fix the .texture issue:

Download and install PEV's Images2TGA.
Run as administrator because it's old.
Open up the .texture file.
Save out .jpg.

https://trainz.shaneturner.co.uk/tutorials/index.php/home/utilities/pevsoft-trainz-tools

To fix the uniform color error:

Open up the faulty texture.
Place a single pixel of white or grey. I usually put on in a corner.
Save the file.

The thumbnails issue can be fixed by adding this to your config.txt:
You will need to create a thumbnail_0.jpg image. The image can have any name as long as the name is the same on the image line here in the container. (These are called containers with the { , } or curly brackets.)

thumbnails
{
default
{
image "thumbnail_0.jpg"
width 240
height 180
}

}

Your horncover.tga texture is outright missing.

If you can, try to find a suitable image or texture-color. The alternative is to delete the horncover-horncover.texture.txt file since the image it references is missing.

Ignore the 500 polygon warning.

I'm not sure about the Material error or warning. I've never dealt with that before. Hopefully, it's a warning and can be ignored. The other errors can be fixed easily.

The thing is I don't know what texture is faulty as it could be anything

VE165: Texture 'body/horncover-horncover.texture' is missing or could not be loaded in mesh 'body/body.im
Unable to load primary image 'body/horncover.tga' for texture file 'body/horncover-horncover.texture.txt'.

As John mentioned, it looks like you have a texture in the body folder named horncover-horncover.texture.
Open that with Images2TGA, then just "Save As", and it will save it as horncover.tga and horncover-horncover.texture.txt.

Actually, it may save it as horncover-horncover.tga and horncover-horncover.texture.txt, in which case rename horncover-horncover.tga to just
horncover.tga

I also have i similar issue this is the issue
- <kuid:138423:1100067> VE40: Unable to load primary image 'gp35atsf1_body/map1.tga' for texture file 'gp35atsf1_body/map1.texture.txt'.
