Trying to get a 1940s bell and horn sound for F7s, can't decide if the horn needs something in the loop.

I like the bell but the horn doesn't sound quite right to me. But who am I to judge? I'm no F7 expert.

That Chicago great western video is a very bad dubbing job, F7's do not have turbocharged 645's.....that audio was taken from a NS ex-Southern HH SD40-2 if I had to guess

Is there a source out there that can say what horn was mounted on what locomotive. I mean, the F7s didn't ALL have the same horn, did they? I thought it varied from one road to another....

Probably did, the Leslie A200 is one of the ones I had in mind if I could find a good recording.

Possibly because of my username. I originally used "sniper297" which was my Navy nickname, first time I logged into a network was NALCOMIS in 1980 and been using that ever since. But YouTube and google yahoo whoever insisted on creating a new google account to keep the YouTube account, and then wouldn't let me log back into the original sniper297 account. Since there are no humans involved in their tech support I just created a new YouTube account using RatKiller, which was my street name when I was a kid. Trying to remember usernames and passwords at my age is a royal pain sometimes.
