Since your interested and I didnt want to clutter the other thread. Especially with screenshots I thought I would start this one. Ok here is a boxcar with the picture was taken at an angle. As you can see when it was transferred and using the perspective tool it still tends to have that tilted look.

This is why you go for the straight on, it overall just looks better:

No problem, I didn't realize we were discussing photo based reskins as a whole side of a car. I have done them before, and yes it is easier if you have a straight on side of a car to apply to the model. However, if you work a little harder with the program you could isolate and remove the worst offenders in what you have posted here, say the sides of the boxcar, straighten them up and apply them to the model. Likewise, I would select the logo and lettering, make any changes needed for distortion, clarity and other considerations and save them as a selection and apply them after the boxcar sides were done, and the ribs straight. Alternatively, if you are skinning a ribbed model, then you could have removed the ribs, and filled in the areas using the clone tool, and applied the aide as a straight "sheet" to the model. Anyway, the last part I would do is the door. I tend to use the rotate tool, the clone brush and the perspective and distortion tools quite a bit.
