Escanaba and Lake Superior in the North Woods

Excellent work hope to some day be able to play with your route.

Yeah, for sure, will be asking for some volunteers to give this route a test....Just remember some spots are not done and just have tracks and a few buildings and some just have a sign for saying what station/town your in....But over all its over 200+ boards covering like the whole NE side of Wisconsin and part of Michigan

SB ELS train is seen here passing under Smith Creek Rd and is about to soon enter the yard at Crivitz, this train came from Pembine and the cars will soon be tacked onto the SB Green Bay train that is waiting for them at the south end of the yard

The ELS Channing to Crivitz turn is seen here making its way south thru Iron Mountain MI...Power for todays ELS train is GP38 402 and SD40-2 500

Here he is paralleling the CNW tracks that go to Antoine Yard

Passing thru town past the depot

CNW train 36 Antoine to Green Bay is seen here leaving Iron Mountain with a short train for Green Bay, tracks in the back belong to the Escanaba and Lake Superior Railroad ex-Milwaukee Road

Passing the Iron Mountain depot

Coming off the ELS tracks and heading onto their own CNW line

Starting to pick up speed as it heads east towards Powers Michigan where it will go south for Green Bay

The CNW runs on the left side of the tracks, now have they started using tank cars as spacer cars? :hehe:

Left side is ELS ex-Milwaukee Road, the CNW always had the right side of the tracks up in Iron Mountain and Antoine and then at the south end of town they ran east towards Hermansville MI

The blue from Kingsford is right near Iron Mountain and you can see it go east to Hermansville

The CNW map

And as you can see here the 2 lines and who runs on them

Lots of action going on today up in Pembine...Todays ELS train is sitting at the depot as WC train FDGLA heads past the depot as the WC had some set outs and pick ups for the ELS

Looks like a great day for rail fanning! Nice work!

Yeah, it was a pretty good day, got to see the WC come into town as they only run one main freight each way a day and a local, but the local already came thru earlier, so it was nice just to see the WC at least...The ELS stayed stayed there for a while so I just left.......

I hope the ELS hasn't scrapped the Baldwins they have. They moved them into indoor storage awhile ago.

I still got my sharks in the sheds....Might fire them up one day and take them for a spin on here, make it like back in the good ol days when they did run on this line.....Luckily this is a sim where "anything" can happen :hehe:

They also had a B unit at one point, but it was unusable because they dragged it around on its frame. It would be awesome to have an ABA set of RF-16's on a tourist train or something.

New station looks nice.

Thanks....It is a nice touch to it.....

A real pic of it

Yeah that I wish they would do, but Mr Larkin will prolly just keep them in storage and just rust up even more

Back up in Pembine today, we see some ELS MOW vehicles around, wonder where these guys will be working today.....Also the ELS had an SD9 1223 and the GP38 400 in town, guess these 2 guys will be working the wood spur that is north of town and either make a run South to Crivitz, North to Channing or go back east to Wells...Not sure what they have in store today
