Escanaba and Lake Superior in the North Woods

Took a spin over to the ELS shops and seen the Sharks getting out and about, I dont know what they are going to do with em, but maybe looks like they might be getting ready to be put back into service...But my guess they will only be doing the runs between here at Wells to Pembine

CN train L547 comes rolling into Pembine running LHF from Powers...Todays train has a few log loads for Goodman Veneer and Lumber

Making its required stop at the diamond

Bringing the empties back and headed back to Powers

Thanks....It sure is a doozy of a route, thats for sure....I got mainly all the tracks in as one can see the system map of this line....I got all that you see on here in

The ELS 400 pulls up to Pembine with a few log cars that will be set out just north of the depot

ELS 1223 heads out of Powers Michigan as it heads west for Pembine over the tracks of the CN

I see I am not the only one out this morning fanning the ELS...Todays train is made up with the ELS 1338 & the crew have their northbound train together and on the way with 65 cars in tow as they head north, with five loads of Potash for Coleman that were on the head end along with 5 cement loads for Floodwood and two LPG tanks for Lakes in Crivitz. There was also a loaded MLLX covered hopper maybe for Crivitz. The rest of the 65 cars were a handful of rack flats and ELS/MSDR boxcars and maybe 30+ new (5-15 build date) sand cars headed for storage

Caught the 501 coming down from Channing today here at Iron Mountain....Todays train is just a string of the log cars that came from Sagola...

The NB departed the yard with 26 cars. 5 by 21. 2 loads of lumber probably for WBS and 3 loads of LPG for Lakes Gas in Crivitz. Empties were a mixture of rack flats and ELS box cars along with a gondola and 2 cars for storage.
