Never know what one will see on the ELS...Here we see the ELS F7 with a GBW RS27 leading a SB towards Green Bay

Caught the 500 working its way north thru Iron Mountain MI heading towards Channing MI with a string of empty log cars that will be loaded and hauled back south for Green Bay

After sitting at Lineville Road all night the two ILSX SD40-2's get on the move. The crew reported for 0700 at Crivitz and then cabbed down to Lineville. Southbound into Green Bay the train had 22 loads of OSB from LP in Sagola and 42 loads of pulpwood. Tonnage was 6,700. Here they have just left the main at Lineville and are headed for the CN main about one mile away.

Looks like the 500 will be working up around the Pembine area tomorrow switching out storage cars and the log spur that is just a lil north of here and possibly make a run up to Iron Mountain and then back to Channing to tie up for the day

Doesn't matter. It all tastes like it was filtered through a used jock strap.

In other news, Great work WCL.

Thanx.

For the beer building I used. That was the only one that fit and I liked how it looked...and for liking beer, I am not a big big big beer drinker personally. I'm more of a mixed drink or wine cooler kinda guy. Just never liked the taste of beer.

Aaaawh ... I wouldn't know ... personally ... but I'll never look at a beer in the same light, ever again, after that statement !

If what you drank last night ... dint' give you the "screamin' mee mee's", the next morning ... It was good !

Someone said: "You ever notice that music (musak) that they play in the background in stores and elevators" ? ... I said: "No ... I never really noticed it that much" ... He said: "Well, now that I told you, you will now ... Harh" ! ... That blithering music been driving me absolutely crazy ever since:hehe:

not trying to be a gimmie, I am just wondering. Where did you get the JR Reskin GATX SD40?

Personal re-skin for this route....Along with a few other re-skins done for this route that one will see now and then on different trains :)

Southbound Escanaba and Lake Superior freight rolls slowly through downtown Abrams, Wi and past the Abrams Post Office. First southbound since last Sunday. Not much revenue today though. 13 pulpwood loads on the head end followed by 6 box car loads of OSB from LP in Sagola, MI. The balance of the 51 car train was covered hoppers and a few tank cars out of storage.

The M&M job fires up for the day as it prepares to switch out the mill and make a run to Crivitz

This has been the first time these 2 locos together came down from the north....It sure was a nice treat to see these 2 today....

We first catch them stomping thru the small community of Abrams

We then raced him coming into Howard at Lineville Rd

Swinging onto the connector track out in the Howard Industrial Park to get to the yard in Green Bay as it crosses Velp Ave

Almost to the CN mainline

Now on the CN mainline, the line passes the old CNW line and now is the start of the Mountain Bay Rec Trail that runs from here all the way to Wausau

Passing one of the Wisconsin Centrals Safety signs that are all over the WC system reminding employees to be safe

Coming into the yard at N Green Bay

Thanx Erik....Your work is always greatly appreciated :Y:

Thank-You again for all that ya do

Somebody mention Abrams? Made a visit last Friday.

Yeah I seen ya were up there. And yet went way way way beyond Abrams and caught them SD9's. Lucky lucky.

Here we see the 500 making up its train in the Crivitz yard before heading south for Green Bay

As light snow flies up here in Northeast Wiscosnin, it shows sign that winter is just around the corner, and fall just about gone....Today we catch the ELS 500 sitting at the Crivitz yard office as it waits for a crew to arrive and head east towards M&M land to switch out some storage cars

But further up from Crivitz didnt get so lucky as they already have snow starting to stick to the ground......Here we see the ELS 1223 working its way north thru Iron Mountain with a string of log cars that will be set out along the log loading spurs along the line from here to Ontonagon MI
