I've got a lot of errors with the asset mentioned in the title. Here's a quoted list of them:

Error: jag_utils.gs(287) : member paramSoup does not exist in object Message, line 287.Error: jag_utils.gs(287) : cannot cast from to GSObject, line 287.

Is it possible to fix this or not?

Apparently you have to move to somewhere other than the USA, it works perfectly elsewhere. It also works in Florida. Try downloading the library, CM doesn't always pick it up and there was some issues with TANE before the hotfix 2. Other than that which asset are you having problems with?

Thanks John

The same asset mentioned in the title and any others by the author, whose name I currently can't remember, the coronas being the only exceptions.

Let's start again which kuid railroad wagon etc are you trying to sort out? JAG wagons are mainly mine but a few others have used them. The error you are seeing is typically because you have downloaded a wagon that uses JAG but CM has not pulled in the dependencies such as the JAG library. So which wagon are you trying to get running?

The dance hall brake vans

I have these installed and they work fine, however, they chatter constantly about lights being on and that impacts the performance.

Though this is another issue, is there something here that needs a looking at?

I'm happy with them, I understand you can disable the lights which are better in TANE hot patch two.

Sorry for the late reply, but it isn't just the brake vans: it's the actual asset itself: JAG Base Libraries and Core Definitions, aka, KUID <kuid:69978:100123>

I tried contacting the author, but the email failed to send. So does anybody know how to fix these errors?

I'm unable to reproduce any errors on my system nor on the beta testers system. So until we can reproduce the errors we can't help you. I do understand from a post is the dev section that N3V have substantially changed things in TANE so that many assets no longer work and that TS12 scripts for things such as signals will not work in TANE.

The scripts were developed for TS12 and so far have worked in in TANE for me and the beta testers but some scripts do interact so it may depend on what else you are trying to run at the time. I suggest building a small test layout and trying the dance halls on that first, in other words eliminate as many variables as possible.

Are you looking at the original Dance Hall or the BR reskins?

Ok, I'm gonna be honest, it isn't just the brake vans: it's the exact asset itself too: JAG Base Libraries and Core Definitions, the latter of which should be of more concern rite now if you know what I mean.

Anyway, I imported them into TS 2010 and the JAG itself is also in 2010. Is that the cause of the problem?

You can't import a TS12 script into TS2010 unless you rewrite it. As I said they were designed for TS12 and they work in TS12.

What you can do is take an existing TS2010 wagon and copy in the mesh but you won't get the guard or lamps etc.
