Error when starting Trainz 2009 and 2010 up.

Hello when ever I try and start the game it will load and a error box will come up saying:"CreateTTFont>Unable to load font 'Comic Sans MS' (with charset') for font-tag ' comic_sans'" Is there a way to fix this error?

That is the first time I've ever seen that error!

All I can suggest to do is make sure you have the font 'Comic Sans MS' on your computer. It seems an odd one not to have; it was made for 'Windows 95 Plus!'.

Since ComicSans is a built-in OpenType font, I would suggest running a system check for errors. You may have some corruption of your Windows install and or the font cache which is preventing this font from loading properly.

You might want to try a System File Scan.

- Open a command prompt with system (admin) rights
- Type SFC /scannow and press enter.

This can find and sometimes repair/replace missing files in your operating system.

Reboot after running this to find out.
