Erasing A Posted Message.

I entered a message and upon reflection I thought of another way of dealing with the issue.
Is there a way to delete a posted message? In this case I am using the original message structure to post this.

I think you have to contact the helpdesk, or simply use the Report-function to report the message so that a moderator, one of two, can delete the message for you. The alternative is to edit your original message and replace the text with =Deleted= and explain you posted something that wasn't necessary.

Both of these methods are what we used to do with the old forums.

Yup. I use the rule that anything I put out there in the ether in writing will be there forever and only type what I really want to say. Sometimes, errors do happen but for the most part there are very few regrets. Coming from corporate communications and Customer Service/Support, MIS, and IT I learned this early on. Old habits don't die easily and I still take the same approach today.
