With the risk of upsetting all of you hissy spitty Trainz fans. I have had enough. I tried to edit one of my textures that worked perfectly pre 44088 patch; after the patch I cannot use any texture if I try to install one of mine I just get some silly colours and it happens when I use The DLS with other people’s textures. I now have, as a content creator a very unusable and stupid bit of software that I have spent both money and years on. And what is the response of the fools at Auran or whatever they call themselves now? “Well look guys why don’t you buy TRS 2012 because it’s got even more bugs than 2010”. They are total fools, I am going to Railworks and will create stuff for that. I will be removing all of my content on DLS tomorrow. And I am not open to little Trainz fans berating me; so don’t bother.

It can't be anything wrong with Trainz, there are lots of creators out there who have no problems.

Still, if you ain't up to the job it's best you downgrade to something a little easier, I'm sure the folk at Railworks will appreciate your creations.

To some of use, you will be missed. Glad you were here for the amount of time that have you dedicated to the comunity. Have fun and you are welcomed to come back IF you want to.

It's time for a break. Step away and do something outside and come back during the cooler months.

The problem you have may have something to do with your video card drivers and texture compression.

Open up the texture-items for edit, uncheck texture compression in Content Manager,

Recommit the items. Your texture issue should go away.

Oh no, not Belkenn! (drops to knees as camera zooms out from above) WHY? WHY? "You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! Damn you all to hell!" :'(

Why doesn't everybody just drive a train through a lovely bit of countryside or town, breathe in the air and be happy with the many routes and sessions already available! There's sooo much already there folks! Breathe in, relax and push that throttle foreward!

Good advice there..... it helps to avoid those toy/pram moments, which can often become a cause of later regret.

;)

This is what I do. I have to otherwise you'd hear a grand piano flying out the window and on the the street below! I have too many days like this with other things besides Trainz. When that happens, I just close it down and go for a walk.

Sometimes getting too caught up with a program or anything like this, can bring the not so best up to the surface.

Good Morning Belkenn

I have checked in our helpdesk, and there are no tickets from you regarding the texture issues that you have been experiencing.

As there has been no contact from you about this issue, we will not have been able to provide any assistance with the issue.

As to the "response" that you have provided, we will not tell a customer to simply buy a new edition of Trainz if they are experiencing an issue. Even if an issue was fully fixed in a later version (of which we will inform you), we will attempt to help to find a fix (or work around) in your current edition.

Good Afternoon Belkenn
