'Electric' sound problems

Most of the electric trains I have on my Trainz 2010 have the 'electric' sound (<kuid:-25:144>) and the sound is faulty!

I think what made it like that is that I got the Shinkansen train and that screwed it all up. It said that the ramp up/down sounds are not permitted (something like that). I know from knowledge that I just get rid of that and that sorts the problem. I did just that and still does not work. I have tried database repairs and reverting to original state but still does not work.

Do you happen to have an older version of that asset (electric,<kuid:-1:42003002>) installed? That may be the version you should be using.

I have the asset you have stated.

But it is 'obsolete'. What does that mean?

Can I still use it?

Try deleting the -25 version if it will let you which should make it use the -1 version.
