EIT problem

Is anybody else having issues with EITs. (build 116492). I have a test route (twin track-single track-twin track) and I can not seem to get the EIT to control the single track section, although I have done it many times before. Just wondering if its me and my meds, or an issue to be reported.

Hi Bob,

I have no reported issues, although I had trouble resetting paths in a session in 116492 because of UDS - more HERE.

Is there any yellow text in the EIT run time monitor that might indicate a problem?

No yellow text in the run time monitor details. Tower is just not responding at all. I only have four paths (one in to single track each end and one out from single track each end). I have tried it with and without TCB. I put a couple of EIT Triggers on the route, but they only partially worked.

UPDATE: Found I was not using any Set Path rule. Sorry for the silly question.

It did not work because you have the paths fighting for control at each end. The path needs to be set with one at each end starting on the double track and ending on the double track at the other end. Your set up has no path through the single track section.

Yes you are right, but in my hazed aged medicated memory I thought I used 4 paths as explained above with TCB on the single track and that the paths were auto assigned as the consist approached. I can not recall having to use Set Path etc, unless I wanted the consist to take a certain path when more than one option. (not needed in this case).
