Magnificent screenies, Andy. These are gold.

I still drive on EK2 with rrmods quality L&N gear.

Also goes to show one doesn't have to grass the bejesus out of a route to make it look it good. I personally think the controlled quantity of the foliage, the seemless blending of used & rusty track, and the point frogs make the route look awesome.

I can't wait for the updated version. I have contemplated treeing it up myself for my own use but never got around to it. I finally got all my kuids for Clovis, and that is a real beauty now with ground textures and such...hehehehe. I think bringing this route up to your current standards is exciting. Looking forward to running it.

Thanks guys. G'day Dave - long time :)

Fantastic fantastic shots Dermmy! Some of the best I've ever seen in trainz! I'm always inspired when I see your shots and I learn so much about routebuilding (not that I knew a lot anyway) when I look at these (one of your shots also found it's way to my desktop at work!).

Keep up the great work! ^^

That will be pure fun to operate!

I was amazed what one could do with low-poly "things".

By the way, great idea to use the NZ houses for mining villages.

So, feel a big moral boost from over here and keep on providing such cool screens.

:D

Thanks for the comments :)

Andy,

How harsh are the trees on a normal computer?
I'm running a "out-of-the-box" Dell Inspiron 530.

I'm really interested in this new version.

Cheers,
Woody

I have no idea Woody - it runs smooth as silk on mine, which is a nice machine but nowhere near over-the-top. In fact i am surprised how smooth it runs. Anyway the important bits of the build machine are:

Intel E6300 Dual Core;
4Gig DDR2 Ram
9800GTX 512 Mb Vid Card

Built in TRS04, screenies from TRS06. It looks like brown sticky stuff in TRS09 even in compatibility mode, but should look sweet in 10 where the issue with Trunda's trees is (I believe) fixed. The upcoming TRS09 SP may fix the issue there, not sure...

Andy ;)
