hello all,

My DS is telling me the server is full, I use first class tickets witch to my knowledge is suppose to skip that. now its started downloading at 1.5KB/s in my opinion is not worth bloody stuffing round with..... Is anyone else having or had a similar problem before i've left it for a day and tried again with no change..

Pete,
Make sure you have activated your FCT. I've just logged on and are downloading at 340kbs, so servers working fine...(Click on profile at the top of this forum. Then click on download tickets in the left column. You should then be at the screen for activating).

Experiences seem to vary - some users have a problem like this and fix it with the password trick but others, such as I, are unable to do so.

From time to time, but rarely, I can logon to the DLS direct from CM and download assets but most of the time I get the "unable to contact Planet Auran ... (etc)" status message.

I can download via FTP without any problem though, and at high speed, which is only a small inconvenience.

Strangely, if I download an asset via FTP which needs dependencies, I can then download the dependencies directly via CM although CM continues to display the "Unable to connect" status message and the dependencies appear in the download helper panel with a "?" indicating that they cannot be located. Wait a little while and magically the 'missing dependencies' symbol beside the asset disappears (although the download helper panel status of the dependencies does not change).

More info and detail that you need, perhaps, but if you can't fix it there is a strategy to get around it.
 
Hi all

it has seemed to pick up, i purchased and activated a FCT yesterday. ill see how it goes. I left it run ova breakfast and all my files have finished. Thank you everyone for you comments and help
