Download Station "unavailable" because full?? On a "First class ticket"?

Hi all,

I'm coming back to Trainz after several years, and decided to download content today. Bought a First Class ticket, since my Content Manager kept reporting the server too busy and unavailable, try later.

My ticket is "activated", and shows up in my CM settings... but after MANY attempts to download today I'm still receiving messages that the server is too busy and unavailable for downloading, try later.

I don't understand... I thought the whole point of the First Class was to avoid the "server too busy" problem, and enable faster downloading.

Any thoughts or insights?
 
The weekend in general seems to be a bad time for the DLS. It does this to others as well, and perhaps if you don't get satisfaction soon, contact the helpdesk.

The "server full" message can sometimes be caused by a problem with CMP and not the DLS. Try re-entering your password ... from the Trainz Launcher select Options which should open to the General tab. Re-type your password and click OK

This sometimes fixes the problem.

I have only had one problem with the DLS.
After about half an hour, the DLS said that there was an error, and it wouldn't let me download again without restarting my computer.
That problem was probably my computer, not the DLS.
 
Another suggestion is this. Make sure CMP/CM2 is closed, then go to the 'download station' link at the top. Once on that page, click 'log out'. Now log back in. This has been known to force the server to recognise your FCT. That said, it can take a good 24 hours before the ticket actually activates.

My Posts in General Trainz haven't had people reply in hours on some and some haven't had any replies.

Please note that we do have lives outside of the forums and trainz ;) And do like to play trainz as well. If someone doesn't have the appropriate answer for your thread, they generally won't post in it. And sometimes it can be days, or even weeks, before the person with the answer logs in, or sees the thread... So please don't expect people to post in your thread immediately, or all the time :)
