ಠ_ಠ....What?
Hello, I'm back with more mind-bottling questions!:hehe:

I go to the DLS, Try to download a route/Train/Anything! And i get a error message saying: "Fire fox doesn't know how to open this because its not associated with any program." So what do i do?

I'm using Win7 With Firefox, Trainz2009 Build:44653.

Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks for reading, DR:wave:

Does the same problem happen in Internet Explorer?

If it does, simply run Content Manager at least once as administrator if using Windows Vista/7.

If not, have a look in the DLS,FCT forum.

It's because you didn't install trainz as an administrator, so it didn't setup the trainz: protocol handler.

I believe you can fix it by running the diagnostics (WHILE RUNNING TRAINZ AS ADMINISTRATOR - which you should always be doing) again. If that fails, you might have to reinstall (USING 'RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR').

I'm pretty sure the whole 'trainz must be run as administrator' thing is stickied somewhere, but people still seem to forget :)

It's good to have both methods available, but novice users should be very wary of editing the registry, as wrong information can crash the system.

Firefox options

There is another way that I've always used.

Go into Firefox/Tools/Option/Applications.

Look for "trainz" and set it to "Use Content Manager".
