download helper problems

I`M RUNNING TRS 2006 CAN ANYBODY HELP, UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD CONTENT IN CMP ABLE TO DO VIA FTP LINK IN 2004 AND TRAINZ . I CAN FIND WHAT I NEED WHEN I CLICK TO DOWNLOAD IT SHOWS UP IN DOWNLOAD HELPER, I PRESS START DOWNLOAD, SPEED SHOWS 0.00 ,THERES NO NETWORK SPEED. BLUE LINE SHADES THE REQUIRED DOWNLOAD SAYS ITS INSTALLING. NO DEPENDECIES ARE FOUND AND ADDED WHICH SHOULD HAPPEN, FROM KNOWLEDGE GATHERED FROM PAST SUCCESS WHEN DOWNLOAD MANAGER DID WORK WITH DIAL UP. SINCE GOING BROADBAND NONE,ANTI-VIRUS AND FIREWALL IS`NT BLOCKING ACCESS TRIED COMMITTING NOTHING SHOWS IN SURVEYOR OR RAIL-YARD.

Try using the FTP download to a file on your computer then import cpd into CMP using input cpd in CMP. This works for me but it does not download dependecies fpr routes etc. these must be downloaded individuly which can be long and boring. Hope this is of use.

Thanks for reply ftp works for me as well but i would prefer not to manually download all dependencies if possible, and my 7 year old likes to download content as well CANT TRUST HIM TO GET ALL DEPENDENCIES.

I've had a few cases like this - it seems to be where the original asset was corrupt on the DLS.

Check out the asset using the FTP listing - I usually find that the asset in question has a file size of zero....
Unfortunately, this blocks the rest of the download.

download error problem

If I download a route it will tell me for example it is 4.7mb in download helper against the kuid I require. Then it shows for example 86mb installing that would be its dependencies but they don`t show in download panel.nothing else occurs regardless of time I stay in cmp.
