download content updates

please help I have 2100 updates it says on main menu ts2010 was given a link on how to download them thou content manager have done that but still says I need same amount

That's concerning. The number should have reduced, unless the updates failed to install for some reason - did any appear in red in the Download Helper pane? If not, and you are using Windows Vista or later, make sure Trainz is set to run as administrator (check this by right-clicking the shortcut used to launch Trainz, clicking Properties, then clicking the Compatibility tab)

In my version of TS10 it says I have 700+ updates but when I select Update the new page has an exception in a method that is updating the HTML page. Perhaps an overflow or memory problem. So I'm wondering if the OP has the same problem.

Since I rarely use TS10 its not a major issue for me but I can recall filtering updates by author in Content Manager to try and reduce the overall number that way. The problem has been there for some time.

I believe it is a bug in TS10 (build 49933).

Paul - that particular issue is well known and normally fixed by an extended database repair.

hi yeah running on admin on win7 no mess in pane at bottom except 1 I recall not install acs ? brought a ticket to speed it up as well

Ah - that may have something to do with it. Clear out the download helper list, then re-try the download, especially if you've just activated the FCT.

I would re-try a further download, although look for items in red - hover over it to get the exact reason.

hi shane just put the search fields in some say in list faulty or faulty dependencies

p.s doing a search again re downloading at bottom in error pane says some cannot be found on download station

You will find that with some assets if they require TS12 or payware content.

That may help, but you still will not be able to download every single update.
