Down Load Station and Vista

Recently upgraded to Vista after a major computer failure. Have been trying to load TSR2006. Finally got rid of the dreaded Trainz URL Register Key by turning off all of the security on Vista. Now I cannot get the DLS to work. I can download from the Down Load Station online but the DLS symbol does not show up in content manager. Help:confused:

The real solution is not to turn off the security features (User Account Control), but instead to give Trainz and Content Manager administrative privileges.

In your Auran/(Trainz Version)/bin folder, right click on ContentManager.exe and choose Properties. On the Compatibility Tab choose the option to run with Administrator privileges.

You should then be able to run CM with the security features on. This might fix your other problems as well, but they could easily be unrelated.

Turned on the "run this program as an administrator" in all of the applications listed in both Bin and TSR2006. Now I have the URL Register key back again.

Hello

Part 2

Are you getting this error message in TRS2006 on Microsoft Vista: ERROR - Unable to register Trainz URL registry key

After you have installed TRS2006 as a administrator on Microsoft Windows Vista:

Right Click the following files in the TRS2006 Directory below and select compatibility tab and tick the small square box ----> Run this program as an Administrator.

TRS2006.exe
ContentManager
CCP
Launcher
Trainz
TrainzDiag
openGLextensions
gsc
gse
TrainzUtil

Here is a another thread for those of you's having problems with CMP under Vista and also for those of you's getting this error message: Unable to register Trainz URL registry key - How you can get rid of it, link here:
