Nothing will happen other than a What do you want me to do with this file box with the what application do you want to run it? That file contains the information for the binary uninstall.exe or whatever the .exe program is that uninstalls the program. This is interesting as I shall soon need to uninstall my current Trainz Plus installation when my Gold subscription ends. I notice there is an 'uninstall.dat' file in the folder - what if I just click on that?

Do you mind repeating that ? I'm going to write it down and stick it on my refrigerator. You do today what works today without messing up yesterday as much as possible and perhaps prepare for tomorrow but since tomorrow is a moving target, getting that right is more luck and wisdom.
feel free but note the typo, the last AND should be THANDo you mind repeating that ? I'm going to write it down and stick it on my refrigerator.
That is interesting, could you re-direct build xxxxxxxxx from TRS19 to TRS22?To move TANE into TRS19, I've done this from TRS19 to TRS22..
Copy and backup folders from TANE
Original
Packages
Local
Editing folder is optional if you have anything inside it..
Backups folder is also optional if anything is inside this folder.
I would compress all of these folders in a rar file, do not use zip. Best to use WinRAR to package all your backups first. Then you can extract them to your TRS19 folder
by default C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\N3V Games and inside the TRS19 folder![]()
Not entirely sure what you mean by 're-directing build xxxxxxxxx from TRS19 to TRS22'? If, you are referring to moving the 'Build-XXXXXXX' folder from TRS19 to TRS22, I would strongly recommend NOT doing this, under any circumstances. I'm guessing that it could cause some serious problems to your Trainz installation..That is interesting, could you re-direct build xxxxxxxxx from TRS19 to TRS22?
This would be an ideal way to check if the TRS19 routes etc will be compatable with TRS22 without messing up the main installation - maybe....
You can do that. You duplicate the database first and point the fresh TRS22 installation to the old TRS19 database. A program restart will be required and a database repair will kick in.Not entirely sure what you mean by 're-directing build xxxxxxxxx from TRS19 to TRS22'? To answer your question, Yes. TRS19 routes does work well in TRS22! You could even make a TRS22 route compatible in TRS19/T:ANE, I'm not giving that secret away![]()
Well, I stand correctedYou can do that. You duplicate the database first and point the fresh TRS22 installation to the old TRS19 database. A program restart will be required and a database repair will kick in.
I have done just that as I upgraded from all versions prior to TS12 then up to T: ANE --- >, TRS19 --- > Plus, TRS22 --- > Plus.
The disadvantage is you need to repair content that hasn't been updated yet. When I went from TS12 to T: ANE, I repaired close to 7,500 assets and deleted many more. The updates after that were pretty smooth since the older ones were weeded out and many have been repaired.
