Does Anyone Still Have Postwar Lionel?

Well I figure keep stress off of them whenever possible just in case...you never know. At train shows with the club I'm in, they are ran with the whistle tender and a full rake of freight cars, or the occasional passenger train.

I got a HO scale Lionel in 1961.

It had a C&O FA engine that had rubber bands from the drive shaft to the boggies that kept comming off...

Don't have the engine anymore...

I do have the HO scale radioactive flat car in Seaboard Line and the C&O work Caboose

For a while into the 70's I had the satellite launching car and the helicopter launch car.
