Anyone else having problems logging onto the Download Station website today? It suddenly started prompting me to logon, but won't accept my userID and/or password. Never had this problem before.

Planet Auran - and thus DLS authentication - appears to be down right now, been that way an hour at least.

Good to hear it isn't just me. Bad to hear it's affecting everying.
I think it's time that Auran stopped treating Trainz as a hobby, only to be supported on Australian East Coast time. There are people all over the world who buy Trainz and want to access the DLS and other Auran websites on their time and not just Oz time.
Surely it's not too much to ask Auran to have someone try to keep the websites up overnight. Before I retired, I had a career in computers and I remember the early days when I had to support important financial systems at any hour of the night. It can be done. I don't think these are major problems that keep occurring because they seem to be fixed very quickly when someone comes in in the morning.
Come on Auran! A great deal of the joy of using Trainz requires the use of the DLS. It's VERY frustrating when it's down - and it happens far too often.

It seems to be happening more often since they change the servers, and always towards the weekend.

Yes im having the same troubles,seems to happen alot recently
It was happening far more before the new servers, the DLS routinely would crash on a friday (UK time) and come back on sunday when Auran shuffled into the office and had their coffee. It was a rare weekend when I could access the DLS at all.

I'm sick of paying for things from Auran that don't work.

I must admit with Mankind.net I called it quits, but still hope the new programmer (one)(not being paid)can begin to turn it around.
Its rare that I go to store now and buy a game, most are console shooters
I scan the internet for new stuff,like ts 10, and I have tried to keep my cool, thou I must admit patching ts10 make me snapped a few times(download DX 9c):hehe:

Apparently the server is down. I already submitted a ticket to the helpdesk on it. Mine worked fine this morning. Tonight, not so good.
Back up again now, I was getting "unable to validate your user name" every time I opened TS2010 Content Mangler earlier today. IMO the whole thing needs to be redesigned, unless I want to download something what's the point of connecting every time I open it? Dunno how many thousands of users there are, but if everyone is connecting to the download station automatically whether they want to or not, it's no surprise that it gets overloaded.
Unfortunately, its still messed up for me, but the strange thing is it was working for an hour or two before it had a double-flameout and turned into a smoking crater on my screen:hehe: 
. I suspect there's just some minor thing going on...but there always seems to be!
Oh well, by William0d0's time calculations it should be 2:00PM in Brisbane, maybe they'll get the pieces put back together and the engines started by tommorow.
We hope....
