Thank you for reporting this to use. I have forwarded this to our team, however they may not be able to look into it until tomorrow morning.

Unfortunately, it appears that the server being affected is the Planet Auran server, and as such some members may also see issues with their DLC packs, as the DRM server may be unable to varify login details in some cases.

We will post an announcement once the servers are fully back online.

Our team has been looking into this tonight, and the servers should now be online. They are still somewhat slow, so you may see some timeouts, however it should now be possible to access the DLS. We will, however, be looking into this further tomorrow morning (please keep in mind, it's midnight over here at the moment, and it's simply not possible for our admin to work 24/7; nor can we have 3 or 4 admins to monitor the website 24/7 - this just isn't viable).

Good Morning All

I have, spoken with our team this morning about this. The server issues experienced this weekend were due to the promotion of Trainz Driver for iPhone. With 500,000 new users our servers were stretched to the limits. We have therefore extended the cut-off period for Download Station access for existing users of TS2009/2010 by a week.

3 days without a connection now via CM, using Trainz 2012 so not just 2009/10 that it's affecting. What is the point in having a 1st class ticket if you can't us it.

Still only working intermittently in UK, got through once just know, popped to this Forum and back and now just keeps timing out. The weekend rush for "Free" Trainz, should not be effecting servers now, guessed at possible cause/excuse in earlier posting.

I'm with you on this one Vern. Three days of FCT not use-able. A free 7 day FCT would be good recompense for this outage. They have extended the upload of unsupportred versions for 1 week, why not give a fee FCT as well.

Get it right - it's N3V, not Auran. Secondly, it may well have been unprecedented demand for Trainz Driver that has affected things, and I do know that Softlayer (who provides the servers that N3V are using) haven't had the best reputation for reliability.
