Is there a way to manually turn on the ditchlights? I know ; is supposed to activate them however for some og your products its only by the horn? Is there a way to alter this?

The explanation would be that for NS, CSX, Amtrak and a few others, that is the way it works in real life. It wouldn't be JR if the products were not prototypically correct. You'll also notice that the UP and BNSF (except for a few) don't have flashers because the ditchlights don't flash in real life either.
