What's interesting is this hoax may not be too far off from the truth regarding the XBox. Future gaming consoles will be running an x86 processor which will speed up cross-platform game development, making the porting of apps from PCs to consoles easier and vice a versa.

I started reading this thread a couple of minutes ago, and I said, oh no, there is no way trainz is just going to come to a stop soon. Around 95% of trainzers use trainz on the PC. I was about to have a heart attack. Good thing it was just a dream.

I'm not so sure this joke is as funny as it first seemed. The last two N3V announcements have been an update to the iPad version and Trainz Driver for smartphones. This is getting a little too close for comfort.

As a business I would think that N3V are possibly more interested in a user's cash than their level of discernment.
