How long after you purchase the game will it take before you can download the digital download version of TS2010 or TS12? Another thing, will you have to back up your purchase just in case if anything happens to it?

Not sure about the requirement to backup, but I would do so, just incase! But I'm paranoid.

As for downloading, it depends on your connection speed. I think you'll get limited more on Auran's side than anything else, on a 20 Mb line I got it in maybe 3-4 hours. ( I actually left it running while shopping )

I believe you can re-download it without any hassle, though AFAIK N3V doesn't guarantee any particular time period of download availability. Backing up is easy: It'll fit on two standard DVD discs, an 8Gb thumbdrive, etc.

as soon as the credit or debit card transfers the money to who ever you get the digital DL from" HINT" get it from jointedrail and you'll get a payware voucher for some locomotives. as for lengeth of the total down load ...connection speed is the big issue ...as well as your system ...if it's slow and old it may take a bit ..a few hours ? if your system is basic only download 1 file at a time .once you have ALL the complete files...MAKE COPYS! on a flash drive or a disk.

And also a must is use a download manager, not a browser and definitely not IE, otherwise you will probably end up with corrupt files.

HELP Download Failure

Purchased Trainz Sim. for MAC two days ago. Used Download Manager (Folx) but after 14 attempts will NOT download...(Login Error) Auran seems unreachable. What can I do???
