DEM needed for new project.

I am wanting to model the Blackwater (Qld) Coal Operations System using DEM however I am having a hell of a job getting myself to understand DEM and as a result am getting nowhere fast.

I am wondering if someone would care to make the DEM files for me that cover the track from Emerald to Gladstone/Callemondah?

QR have kindly made available all other information I am likely to need including exact location and types of crossings, bridges, speed limits, axle loadings and a whole host of other stuff that can be used.

If anyone would like to give this a go for me it would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah it's a big one and something that needs to be done in sections but I have a lot of time on my hands and would love to give it a go. Any help - even for just a part of it - would be greatly appreciated.

Indeed, "done in sections" is the only way it could be done. It took six sections to cover a Toowoomba to Charleville route that I did some time back for another builder! Yours will probably require about the same...
