After reading a book, titled Train Driver, a railway career memoir, Written by Roger Taylor. In the first few chapters he goes into a lot of detail about working for SAR (South Australian Railways) in the early 70s and seems to have a bit of a passion for the 900 Class. The book has certainly caught my interest in this system, despite having never gone to South Australia and knowing literally nothing about the railways in Australia.
I was wondering if there are any decent SAR routes with sessions on trainz, preferably set in the 60s and 70s.
I spent a while mucking about with the NSW stuff on trainz for a while before wanting more Australian themed routes.
I have also been doing a bit of research here and there on the railways of New South Wales and the SAR system and I think on my way to becoming an Aussie rail enthusiast.
By the way I know about the Razorback system, but it seems so huge I don't know where to start.
