Dash 2 High Hood Interior Problem

Hi, I am trying to get Dash 2 Cab Mech High Hood listed under cabs on the JR website to work. I download it from the site but then it shows up as not installed in CMP, and will not let me download it, giving me an error (the same I get when downloading TS12 assets "could not obtain download URL"). I'm a little confused as this is listed under 09-10. I also see something about it needing dependent payware assets.... I would buy them if I knew what I needed. This is for Payware NS GP38-2 high hood. Thanks, JMR
Edit: It is showing up as missing <kuid2:45324:91104:1>. I believe I remember reading a thread about the high hood cab problem a while back, but never saw a resolution.

The kuid you reference is the SOU SD45 cab shell, which has nothing to do with the GP38-2 high hood? This file is packed with the SOU SD45

Thank you guys for the prompt reply. I deleted the shell kuid from config, it threw a script error and in driver, only windows/gauges and levers were visible. Again, thanks.. I know this game can be a bear and I appreciate the support. P.S. I edited and corrected the EMD 16_567b engine sound, it was full of clicks and pops, not to be a rivet counter but sound is important to me, let me know whats up, JMR

hi, i looked back over you post, i noticed that the NS GP38-2 does not even reference this cab file. only the SOU SD45 uses this cab. the NS 38 uses a cab from the DLS.

Also, we do not offer a 16-567b sound at JR. the Geeps use a sound by a third party, but i have never noticed many clicks and pops in those either.

I was trying to replace that default Auran cab in the geep, guess it wasn't meant to be, however I am having this problem with the NW SD45 HH, cab missing <kuid2:45324:91132:1>.

right, well as it states in the cab asset:

"THIS ASSET WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY WITHOUT THE DEPENDANT PAYWARE ASSETS FROM JOINTEDRAIL.COM AND IS NOT SUPPORTED AS SUCH"

as far as the NW cab, you are reporting it is missing items from some other asset. this should not be possible.

Yes, I had stated in my original post that I was well aware of that and had asked what I could buy, and was answered above. This brought me to purchasing a similar loco, which I am having the same problems with the cab. The kuid is listed as "shell" in the config;

It is also seen as "update available" but neither downloading and re-downloading the cab from JR or trying to download it with cmp fixes the issue.
Should I change the kuid in config to match NW SD45 cab shell??

apparently the shell for the MRL 680. mine didnt have this reference, so possibly whatever one was uploaded to the site did a long time ago. something i will have to replace.
