Appreciated the heartwarming replies to my questions..Thanks..It warms an old fossil's cockles.(not meant to be rude).Cockles here in south Australia are shellfish usually used for bait but you can eat them yourself if you like...YUK..
But back to the story boys and girls..I have looked in Trainz Objects and found the map page with all the missing assets etc but...How do I copy it from there to here so that you can all see it??? I've tried cut and paste but all I got out of that was a shredded and sticky mouse...:hehe: and there is too much to write it out one character at a time...
Have managed to copy it onto desktop (the page not the mouse) but can go no further...

As best I know, copy the list to you desktop as a txt document via TO using the symbol that looks like a floppy disk
Delete all the items on the list you are sure are ok to reduce the size of the document and then work through them one by one using the kuid numbers at the DLS
These can easily be copied and pasted from the list into the search box
I hope someone has a simpler solution

TO is able to search the DLS for you and find any of those missing kuids. Cant remember the correct route to it but will find out.

edit When you have done the map search for missing content and you get the red missing content list. Right click the page and in the popup list you will see check the DS, click on this and all DLS available content will be found.

To answer the question you actually asked;

- Save the T.O. assets list as a .txt file using the 'floppy disk' icon in the T.O. toolbar, as trackplate explained
- Open that .txt file using Windows Notepad
- Copy the bits you want us to see
- Paste it directly into a Forum post and see what it looks like using the 'Preview post' button.
- If the loss of formatting makes it hard to read, try playing with the #, <> or PHP formatting icons above the message edit window.

Missing Things

Not being computer literate I have decided to list the missing kuids by hand instead of cutting and pasting.Thanks though to those who tried to show me how..Not your fault..

Missing kuids in my own maps that I found using trainz objects are:
-16:10212
-3:10209
-3:10186
-3:10083
-3:10206
and 382232:100658

I cannot find them anywhere but it doesn't really matter as the only problem with them seems to be the dreaded black screen..I will just ignore it...By the way the first five ones do have a - in front of them and I have heard that these are Auran's own material or something like that..

The - kuids are indeed built in ones. It is also possible that they may have been updated by the original creator so you have a newer version with the creators own kuid being used and the old kuid is still in the config of an asset. 382232 kuids are very new so not sure where it comes from.
