Curious about "010" version

I'm wondering.
before I purchase Trainz 2010 Engineer (US edition)
Can I run 2010 on a computer that DOESNT use a Network? (I own a Windows 7 and I don't want it on network)
I keep most of my work and trainz 06 on that specific computer

Actually I'm juz wondering if Trainz 2010 can be played offline :/

06 runs w/o any problems =)

No. Prior to TS12 SP1, you do not REQUIRE a network connection in order to use all your content or run the game. I run Trainz offline myself. Keep in mind that assumes you're buying the edition straight from N3V; other versions published by other sellers like Steam may or may not require an internet connection to activate or function.

I would say yes, the only problem is that you will not be able to get content then.

At this time, no version of Trainz requires an internet connection to run. However, if you wish to use any online functions in Trainz, including accessing the DLS (through Content Manager) you will need an internet connection. TS12 SP1 mentioned by RRSignal only requires an internet connection if you have purchased content via the new DLC system.
