Crashing, I want my $29.99 back!

I just got this game a couple days ago and everything was going well until yesterday while playing Surveyor mode the computer crashed and the program said it had to close down because of a problem. I thought maybe it was just once but no it happens every time now. Now it won’t even let me do anything in a map it crashes right away! I tried the database repair and I also have the first service pack installed. Does anyone know what might be going on? I wasted $29.99 on a game I can only played a couple days. Here is what it tells me:

What are the specifications of your PC? Like the hard drive, os (Windows versions), video card, etc. This would be helpful in troubleshooting your problem.

There are many reasons why Trainz will crash like this ranging from hardware problems to a recently installed corrupted asset (train, car, building etc. in Trainz).

I have had crashes before caused by faulty memory. A memory test such as Memtst86 helped me resolve that problem. A faulty power supply, or one that is inadequate for the load caused by 3D graphics, can cause crashes as well. Is your PC ventilated properly? This too can cause crashes. Some CPUs, such as the AMD processors, will crash rather than slow down when they are overheated. Intel will slow down, or throttle back until the system is shutdown due to heat.

Have you applied the latest patch? There is an Update button in the Options menu to have the program go out and pickup the latest patches. This did resolve a Surveyor crash that occurred when moving junction levers.

There are many software causes such as malware running in the background, to other programs running and conflicting with the system. Have you recently scanned your system for viruses, Trojans, and other malware?

So before you panic, I would look into these things first before considering requesting a refund.

Your Windows system uses a "page file" to keep a chink of information. When this gets close to the set size, it will write the page file to disc - and retrive it as necessary.

It's one of the settings you can make in Windows...

If you can run the Trainzdiag.exe file (in the Auran folder or sub-folder), post the results (you can save the file) here you're likley to get some good advice.

I have a utility called EndItAll that I use to close all background stuff so the PC has as much power as possible to run Trainz - it needs it!!!

tell you what, google this Access Violation (0xc0000005) i had this error, pointed towards memory, figured it out. nothing to do with trainz or my pc, was something i had downloaded into trainz.
