Righto David, you'll have to look on these sites then :-

Kuid 128184:28211

http://www.roltrainz.hu/index_4.html 2nd item down in scenery section=SZERELŐ ÁLLVÁNY (pack)

Kuid 217096:50020 is the arch window that we think Bob Sanders has put onto the DLS, but this hasn't been updated for over a week, so you'll have to delete the item for the time being.

Kuid 77641:23129

http://trainzpedro.cz/download.php?ID=90&sort=Name 1st item = Hala plechový sklad

Kuid 2:149987:21903:1

http://www.ibertrainz.eu/noticias/?cat=33 Its the FMA Sky Worldbusiness about 3 photographed items down.

Thank you all for your help. I now have them all except for those you told me about.
It really is a great module.

When you say that you google for missing kuids Jan, what exactly do you enter in the search? I tried it but got nothing.
This would be useful for future reference so that I don't have to bother you guys.
Thanks again.

Well, of course your milage may vary, but searching like this: <kuid:128184:28211> seems to give the best results. Note that you will not always get the direct download page, often you get threads on this or other forums where people asked the same thing and sometimes got an answer there. Anyway, great for polishing up your foreign language skills...;)

Hope this helps.

Hi
I don't know if it will help but when I search on Google I type the first part of the kuid then plus then trainZ as (123542+trainz )

that filters out all the rubbish associated with the numbers and at least should give you the username.

I have never got a result by typing the whole kuid.

cheers
Roy

Thanks for that Roy.

I'll give that a try.

This forum is a great place for the novices like me who cannot make content & are a bit too long in the tooth to work things out for themselves.
There's always a bunch of guys out there from all over the world prepared to help and make this game a lot of fun.
Thank you all.

Just a quick message for those that have emailed me regarding missing kuid's recently.

I'm in the middle of a very busy weekend but will do my best to respond to you all as soon as I can.

Hello Muliebuck, may I firstly suggest you read the posts at the beginning of this thread as the assets by Bob Sanders and zxr400 were unavailable initially. As for the rest of your list, I have put the website addresses against each author, you should be able to find the missing stuff fairly easily as our friends from Hungary have put the kuid numbers against each item, so you can see which ones you require.

Post back if you have any further problems.

*slaps self* I apologise, was well past mentally asleep when I put that in, and it never occured to me until this morning, to go back and double-check, to see if they've already been listed, and wehre to find them.

Hi Chris,

Firstly thanks and congratulations on the sublime Cootes Lane, it's a truly excellent piece of work.

Developing your idea of it being a showcase for all things BR blue, I had the thought of making an automatic session, as a way of celebrating all the great BR blue locos released in 2008.

So far I have automated the traverser and got a number of locos successfully running in and out of the MPD. I would like to complete the session and share it if possible, but to make it work I have had to add trackmarks, invisible signals and invisible speed limits. Nothing else on the route has been changed. So my question is how would you feel about releasing an update to the route so that the session would work if someone downloaded it?

Cootes Lane is such a quality piece of work it would be nice if there was a session to go with it, but I understand it is totally your call. I could send you the modified map to look over if you were amenable. I'm using TRS06, which might I suppose be a stumbling block.

thanks

Hi Stovepipe,

I have absolutely no problem with this at all. But, as you say, your use of TRS06 is going to be a problem. If we can find a way round it then great.

Chris

Chris,

thanks for your positive response.

There seems to be two options - I get a copy of 2004. It's nice and cheap now, but I would have to run it on my Vista laptop as my XP rig is too feeble for your route. This one here says it's compatible with Vista, but is it really?

The second option would be to ensure there were no 2006 rules etc within the session, alter the trainz-build to 2.4, then send it to you for upload, which would be fine by me.

I'm not totally sure if the 2004 version of the rules I'm using, work in 2006 though. I'll have a play around and see what to do.

Not great news I'm afraid - the move turntable rule is TRS06 only. AFAIK there is no way to move the traverser automatically in TRS04.

I believe the only easy way to provide an automated session in 2004 would be by adding a portal. Unfortunately Portal Timetable is TR06 only so I would have to add a few tracks also to control the timings of locos arriving at the TMD. I was hoping to avoid changing your route in this way, but will do if you are OK with it.

So I propose 1 changed map and 1 session for 2004 which you will have to upload, and 1 session for 2006 (with automated traverser) which I would upload. Does that work?

An updated 'Modern Image' version of this layout is now ready.

'Cootes Lane - Metro' will be sent to the DLS over the weekend. I will start a thread detailing the Layout in the near future.

Wow.....I've just noticed that I never responded to this post last year.

Stovepipe, please accept my apologies, I honestly thought I had replied.

Once again, I'm really sorry.

Chris
