Content update

Hi:
When on the main menu screen there is a Content update icon, yesterday the box said off line. Today it says 962 updates, should these all be downloaded? Is my assumption correct that these updates are for use in the Create Route editor and are not required to just play the game with add ons from the store?

The updates there are for in-game assets, and it's a good idea to download the ones that relate to the assets you use.

I noticed today that there is a star that says " Show only Auran created Updates". My question is, how do you know which updates are good to have, since there are so many assets numbering in the thousands, how can one possibly tell if an update is necessary or not, or should only the Auran created updates be downloaded ?

Basically the updates correct problems and only show those updates available for its you have on the machine. Sometimes these are minor, I might notice a problem in the 240 by 180 .jpg which won't affect anything, sometimes they correct more major faults or improve performance.

My recommendation is if an update is available grab it. You might like to choose a time when you can just let the program do its thing and download them.
