Content Manager ?!?!

when opening content manager it seems like it takes a while for every content to load up ?? and it takes almost over 2 mn to load, even when typing a content you want to download on helper it takes a while??

im not sure, lately my Trainz2010 would always freezes and slow down

When was the last time you performed some maintenance on your PC?

Delete the temporary files and defrag. By defragging your hard drive, you'll defintiely speed up the access time for CM. CM accesses a database file and this can become fragmented. Disk fragmentation causes the drive heads to move around more, and this slows down the performance.

Possibly a disk check as well?

Anyway, if it's behaving really slow, check what else is running at the same time - some programs use a lot of memory.

Good point, Shane. Background programs can really kill performance, and so can an ucky hard drive as well as low space.

There are so many things that can cause this, but the majority of the time in my experience it's the drive just needs a good cleanup.
