Content Manager Plus will not keep my

'User ID' in settings, miscellaneous. My user ID gets erased all the time. Furthermore I seldom have been able to connect to the download station with CMP. I would like to see the down helper from TRS04 brought back to D/L assets for TRS06 and TC. The CMP has been worthless piece of sofware for me. Turned off on Trainz.
Forgot to mention I use Download Page (FTP) and D/L one asset at a time. FTP works fair but CMP is always down.

Hi Ocala,

Make sure that the userd.txt file in the Settings folder where TRS is installed is not 'read only' attribute in properties.

This file is the one that keeps this information for CMP, if it is 'read only' then CMP will not be able to 'write' to it when you type that information in settings. I had this problem myself a while ago and found that was the problem.

As for the DLS and CMP, during the week I have no problems downloading anything, but come the weekend there is a good chance there will be problems downloading.
