Connect industries in TANE2

Just installed TANE and I am very impressed with the advances in performance. That said I would like to connect two different industry tracks through a rule or otherwise. What I would like to do is unload a river coal barge as I fill coal hoppers at the same time. Ideally once five coal hoppers are filled the coal barge would be empty. Is there any way to do this? Thanks in advance...

You might explore mizi's Industry Link which is on the DLS. I know it works in 12 but cannot speak to TANE, haven't tested it there. You would not even need a physical connection between the industry tracks.

The BI2 industry tracks can do this using the 'External' section that links 2 tracks.
Unfortunately I have not used it for some time and cant remember how to use it.

The industry link works in TANE at least with Multi industries.
