Coal County [large pics]

Vey nice, however I recomend being as it seems US themed...you take out the Swiss style xing and replace it with one of BNSF50's crossings.
Other than that you've done one hell of a freaking job!

Hello Euphod. I presume you'd like something like this?

:D

You all might be pleased to hear that all junctions on the line now have frogs.

Also, since it has been brought up more than once, I will make it a point to swap out the crossings as soon as possible.

Cheerio,
Nicholas.

?

How did that NS train get across the bridge ? The speed sign and railroad tie seem to be bolted down to the track, with nut and bolt all-thread.

Yeah, that's the ticket! I'm certainly NOT trying to be a smart-phod, but you have done such nice work here, and I thought that was a glaring omission! Keep up the good work!

I forgot the remove the railroad tie while taking screenshots. It was there so that I can ensure the signals before it work properly. It was removed by the time Euphod's boat passed by. The speed sign has also been pushed back.

Thanks to all for the comments. :)

Cheerio,
Nicholas.

I have begun work on stage 2, the ~30 mile stretch from Samuel and Eugene to the coal mine itself. Also worth noting, it's my first attempt at "desert-style" terrain and texturing. Would love to hear comments and areas for improvement.

Perhaps. But in far more detail if you ask me. :)

Cheerio,
Nicholas.

Well...."Duh?" I was referring to the new pics, where you transitioned into farmland. Of course it's far more detailed, but it has the "flavor" of City and Country...that's all! You are doing great work, don't get all sensitive about it!

Great looking route. You have a good eye for detail. Could you give us an idea of how big this route will be when finished? How are the frame rates?Would you give me the kuid or name of the of the bridge in post #29 and it appears to be bendy. Is that correct? I will be following this thread for more screen shots and updates. Nice job.

Poppins, you can get the UP shunters from Frank McCall's site, www.sporbust.com . He has many other awesome locomotives as well and I highly recommend. When I'm done and if the DLS has decided to cooperate with me by then, then of course I will upload. As a gentle reminder, the forum community would appreciate that you not quote so many pictures at once. It would be nice if you could edit your post.

Stouthm, the bridges are freeware from the TrainzProRoutes download section. Here is link for your convenience.

Euphod, I wasn't being sensitive. I appreciate the compliment on the great job and will continue to put in effort so as not to disappoint. I hope you enjoyed the shot of the boat by the pier which I made specially for you. :D

Cheerio,
Nicholas.
