CMP startup issue

Im having an issue with my CMP starting up.

I move the downloads i want to my cart, press download, and you can hear the CPU working to open up the CMP. The "wrench" noise comes on, but no DLS on my screen. If i look under the applications running CMP is not there but under "processes" it is listed and you can hear the cpu trying to run something.

I have TRS 06 with SP1 installed. Ive restarted the computer with no change. Dont know what else to do.

OK open it and when you hear the wrench noise,just wait.Simple as that,it has to rebuild the asset database could take from anywhere from a couple minutes to an hour pending the amount of content you downloaded.

Sounds like you're using the DLS website. Don't use the cart, it doesn't work with CMP, my theory is because CMP needs to search for dependencies, it can't read what's in the cart. When you find the asset you want, just click Download(helper). Then CMP will open and add the asset to your download window. Continue searching and adding to CMP with Download(helper). Then go to CMP and click start in the download window

Thanks guys. Maybe i was slightly impatient....lol

It started up after about a half hour waiting time. Seems to be working ok now. Man it seems to be faster also. Im getting 800kbs download speed. I upgraded my DSL last week and maybe that is helping also
