CMP Running in 64 bit?

Will CMP run in 64 bit?

im running Windows 7 professional 64 bit and Trainz will run but CMP will start up in the services list but will dissapear after afew seconds and never open.

It worked fine on the Windows 7 32 bit Release candidate version.

Works ok in 64 bit release candidate as well.

Kind of obvious but have you updated the graphics drivers and installed OpenGL?

Also worth checking the Microsoft update site to see if you have the latest version of the .Net Framework for W7 64 bit. I'm pretty sure CM* needs .Net to run.

Hi tardis626,
You do not mention which version of Trainz you are running but you mention "CMP". So we will assume it is TRS2006 or TC3.
These 2 versions of Trainz require version 1.1 of the .net framework which did not come with Windows Vista, so it must be the same thing with Windows Seven. Windows 7 must install version 3 or 3.5.
When you installed TRS2006 or TC3, did you let the program install the .Net framework version 1.1? If not, you will have to reinstall TRS or obtain .Net framework from Microsoft Download Center and afterwards Windows Update should add a few Service Packs and other .Net updates.

Sorry should of mentioned the version. im runnung 09 and .NET framework is fully up-to date
