CMP Help please

My CMP refuses to open.

When i click CMP from my trainz start screen it gives me the vista permission screen i click ok (of course) and it plays the sound its suppose to but it doesnt open yet it appears in my task manager processes.

I have also tried opening a CMP file on my computer which opens another CMP in my computer processes.

What i have done wrong i cant seem to fix it.

I got service pack 1 installed as thats the first thing i did

I've not used VIsta, but from reading posts in another forum (software completely unrelated to Trainz) from people who do, the first area I would suspect is in how you installed TS. I suspect that TS (and service pack updates) needs to be installed from an account with administrator privileges. If you did not do that (or don't know whether or not you did), try uninstalling, and re-installing from such an account.

If you did install from an account with administrator privileges, hopefully someone else will have a better idea than I do.

Im using Trainz Railway Simulator 2006 Build 3099

I never seen the vista looking for permission to open the cmp. I click on the trainz shortcut on my then the vista looks form permission to continue to openthe trainz startup screen
