Clock Rule- some help needed please

Returned...
Hello. I am building a timetable up for my route and would like to compress a days operation into 2 hours or so (the route is a rural line, so not much going on). As I don't have a stopwatch, I was wondering if there is a rule on the DLS that advances the clock forward in time when in Driver mode? Any thoughts?

Best wishes, and thanks

There are 2 way so doing this that immediately spring to mind.

The first one is to use the Startup options rule and set the time rate to either 8x (which will give you a full days cycle in 3 hours of realtime) or 16x (which will give you a full days cycle in 1 and a half hours). There is no 12x the normal rate.

The other way would be to change the time upon triggered events using rules like the "advance time" rule, although this will probably only be useful if you are making a story session, rather than an endless one.

Smiley.

Padster - you could look at "Set Driver Conditions Rule" 99999:696969 on DLS, perhaps it's something for you. Can even change the wheather in Driver.
