Cliff splines

I have Murchison 2 and 2010EE. When placing cliff splines from the objects menu there are no spline points. I have to guess where they are to move and adjust. If I switch to track menu the spline points are shown but then I can't adjust them. Obviously this makes it very difficult to make layouts.

Murchison 2 was installed in 2010 by simply dragging the .ja file over.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It was already set that way. I tried moving the slider to the other settings but no go. I downloaded some cliff splines by other authors and found the same is true for them, no spline points to make adjustments.

Edit:

I have resolved the issue by re-installing the application.

I've tried it and you are quite right, there are no vertex circles on the cliff sections and also other spline items but not all, a spline that I made had the circles.

I wonder if items with a terminator specified are the ones that behave like this. Something to look at later.

I am not quite sure that I follow what you're missing .

With the MURCHISON2 layout you also will find that a number of index layouts are also installed showing the various splines and objects included with the MURCHISON 2 layout

If you go into TS2010 and open the sample layouts up ....

"TRAINZONE - sloping cliffs"
"TRAINZONE - flat cliffs"
You will see that all cliff segments show spline points.

I inserted a spline ftom the objects menu and again the spline points are visible. However the spline points project down from the top of the cliff and, as such, are behind the cliff face which slopes out slightly

Thankyou for the reply Sirgibby :)

As stated I have resolved the problem by re-installing 2010EE. I suspect it was a setting in Surveyor that caused the problem. I am tempted to experiment with the settings to replicate the error but I am afraid of putting it back like it was..........and then doing a re-install again. LOL

I'm really enjoying creating layouts with your cliff splines, (and other goodies from Murchison2). I spend quite a bit of time "dissecting" things in the Murchison layouts and applying what I learn to my own layouts.
