Class 222 problems

I have just tried to put Peterdhicks east midlands class 222 on to one of my sessions and got this message every time I tried to put a set on the track. Thead Exception, ER Null reference line 272 file stack dump. Function $ void @ class 222 : :Init O, line - 1. The trains run alright, but when I close down the session, I get this message. Fatel error, class hardware, reason access violation, then the game shuts down. I would be grateful for any help I can get on this problem.

It seems as though others are having problems with some of Peter's conetent at the moment. It may be the reason for your error message?

I downloaded the 222 today and had some minor problems with the download and both the driving vehcles are showing red (faulty) in surveyor (TRS 2009 build 38411). I have yet to investigate further (too late tonight!).

Which version of Trainz are you running?

I have checked this out in CM2.

The DM** assets are not showing as faulty but there is one broken dependancy - KUID2:75134:67024:2 Cl 67 Driver by eldaveo. A quick look at the Cl222 config files shows that they reference KUID2:75134:67024:1 (note version 1) which would explain the broken link.

KUID2:75134:67024:2 itself show a missing boot.texture file.

The couplers and gangways show warnings (possible performance impact) relating to LM formats.

I don't think any of these small problems would cause the errors you describe (but I'm no expert at fixing content).

As information for anybody investigating the problem further, the KUIDS I had trouble in downloading (they seemed to "stick" and I had to try several times) were:

KUID2:116035:22211:1
KUID2:116035:22211:2
KUID2:116035:1234:1 (This one had a red background highlight against it in CM2)
KUID2:37028:54220
