Carz stuck between tracks

Hi;
I've got a 3 track crossing that is a lot wider than the typical 3 track, and I am using the BNSF50 Grade Xing plate with traffic controller, <kuid:39134:102538>.
So I'm using two of the plates as shown in the first screenshot.

But the problem is that carz often stop after crossing the 1st track because the crossing activated after they were already past the first gate, so they are stopping at the 2nd crossing plate/traffic controller, as shown in the second screenshot:

What I need is a 5 or 6 track plate, but 3 tracks is the longest one available.
Does anyone have an idea of how to get carz to stop at the crossing gates, but not get stuck between the tracks?

Thanks

FW

Hello
I belive you might not have set it up right or the carz can't see the first track, what i mean it is not a crossing like the the other built-in ones or maybe the asset is faulty
hope this helps

Insert a couple of spline points in to the road that is between the two crossing gates, and position them very close to the platforms. Carz will not stop if the length of the last road spline section is too short. You should still be able to position the spline points to where the dashes on the road are still at the correct length, and the carz still will not stop. ;)

Boat's tutorials on his ATLS traffic light system contain some information on this as well. ;) His website is http://www.boatztrainz.co.uk/. ;)

Retroo0064 is correct, just put a spline point about where the nose of the maroon car is. This is one place where the Trainz flaw works in our favor. Nice looking tankers ummm.

Oh and cars won't stop at a 5 or 6 track crossing. They barley stop a 4.

OK. Thanks. I had seen that "problem" before where carz were not stopping when there are splines too close, but for some reason, I did not think of using this "flaw" in my favour. Of course, now that we have found a use for the flaw, it will be removed in the next SP:hehe:

I would like to use invisible track and carz that use the track instead of just the built-in traffic system, but I am afraid to do anything that would put more strain on my aged system (6+ years, P4 3.4G).
