Can't select downloaded locomotives

I downloaded several locomotives for my son to use. They downloaded just fine and he can see them in surveyor mode train selector box (top window), but when he clicks to add them, the little preview window is blank (where the item rotates) and he can't add them. After downloading I closed content manager and then clicked on the start button. a message came up stating " Some of your content has not been committed are you sure you want to launch Trainz ?" How do I commit the content?

Open up the content manager and the click on the tab at the top titled "open for edit." Anything listed here is not committed. Right click on any of the assets there and then go to edit>commit.

Thank You!...it worked! I would have never figured that out...I'm a new.new newbie who has a 7 year old trainiac on my hands....
