Can't Delete Missing Assets in Surveyor anymore

Since I went to Build 58414/TS12, I have missing assets in about 20 of my routes. I'm not going to waste mine or anyone else's time looking for them. Already Googled them with no luck. They're not THAT important. So from surveyor I tried deleting the lost assets. Not working. Imagine that. When I hit save after doing so, the window appears saying that my route hasn't changed and doesn't require saving.

Need to unlock the route layer first or the layer the missing assets are on. Route layer is locked by default. Same with Replace assets, wont work unless you unlock first.

Just had a thought, they may actually be in the backup folders, that's where some of mine ended up when they vanished, pre SP1 though, just reimported then and all ok.

I'm going to try this and see what happens. I have a route I've imported and merged which has some missing assets that I can't remove.

Yes, That is correct.

For me ..a asset has never auto deleted it self.
Well...did you VIEW/VIEW in main list to check for asset version errors.
